MISSION
A collaborative exhibition project with the Sotheby’s New York team to organize the extensive collection of art director Tamotsu Yagi and visualize his design philosophy. The primary challenge was to extract the aesthetics inherent in the details of each object—as suggested by the title "No Detail is Small"—and elevate them into a singular, intellectual spatial experience.
DESIGN
For the spatial design, we meticulously curated the intervals and rhythm of the environment to maximize the historical context and formal beauty of each object. We constructed an immersive flow that allows visitors to retrace Yagi’s perspective and engage in a dialogue with the essence of design. Additionally, we designed the exhibition's visual identity. Anticipating its application across catalogs, web media, and gallery signage, we focused on achieving a powerful presence. We dedicated ourselves to adjusting letter spacing at the pixel level, establishing a disciplined visual language that balances the prestigious atmosphere of Sotheby’s with a modern spirit.
